The Patton FF-T1-SFP is an innovative TDM-over-IP Gateway packaged in an SFP module. The device is a new, convenient and easy way to transport T1/E1 (DS-1) across an Ethernet network.

The unit utilizes the SAToP (RFC4553) protocol to convert T1/E1 data into a single stream of Ethernet packets (Pseudowire). The units can be used in pairs or with other SAToP devices.
